Travel information
Travel arrangements
All travel must be booked through Lorandus, a One10 Company. Attendees must have a valid government-issued ID. Ground transportation to and from your home to the airport is covered regardless of travel dates.
Please book ground travel thoughtfully; use personal vehicles, taxis, limousines, or rentals based on cost and business needs, and share rides when possible. If you drive your own car, mileage and parking will be reimbursed up to the cost of alternative transport options.
All expenses require manager approval and adherence to guidelines; exceptions need program owner’s consent.
Expense guidelines will be emailed before the conference.
Before you leave for the airport
Check in online with your airline 24 hours before departure using your reservation code and passport (if required). For group flights, check-in via the airline’s app may not be available.
Carry-on electronics
Make sure all electronics are working and fully charged for security checks.
Luggage
Ensure your luggage meets airline specifications for size and weight. You can read more about this on the airline’s website.

Carrying medication & personal items on-board
- Keep all necessary medicine in your carry-on bag, in original labelled containers.
- You may bring small amounts of liquids, gels, and aerosols (max 100ml/100g each) in a single clear, resealable 1-litre bag; one bag per passenger. Remove this bag at security screening. Arrival at St. John’s international airport
Group airport transfers are included for arrivals and departures on designated dates. When you arrive in St. John’s, collect your luggage and exit the terminal. Look for a Lorandus team member outside holding a Co-operators sign—they’ll help with your bags and get you to your hotel transport. If you’re arriving outside program dates, you are responsible for your own transportation. You can book private transfers in advance by contacting our transportation partner or choose to use a taxi.
Departure from St. John’s international airport
You will receive detailed instructions about your departure during your stay.
Instructions for departures if you are extending in St. John’s
All transfers outside of the program dates and/or to alternate locations from the airport will be at your own expense.
