When and where is the conference?
In 2025, BRAVO is at the Dreams Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa, Mexico and the conference dates are from Monday May 26 to Thursday May 29, 2025.
Do I need a passport?
Yes, recipients and guest (if applicable) going to Mexico in May 2025 will require a passport (possibly a Visa to travel as well). Please give yourself enough time to purchase this information as needed.
Will Co-operators pay for my passport or the cost to renew it?
No, Co-operators will not cover the cost of a new passport or renewal of a passport.
Do I have to provide a credit card upon arrival?
Yes, at the hotel you will be asked to provide a credit card as a hold upon arrival for any items purchased outside of the program scope. (e.g.: upgrades, damage, premium items, etc.).
Why is my employee number required for registration?
BRAVO must fully comply with the guidelines established by the CRA. Therefore, your employee number is required to facilitate the proper allocation of taxable benefits. If you have any questions regarding the taxable benefit information, please refer to the taxable benefit section on the website.
Is there a taxable benefit for me or my guest to attend the conference?
There will be a taxable benefit applied to the recipients on the pay dates of August 15 and 29, 2025. The Canadian Revenue Agency (CRA) defines a taxable benefit as “a benefit where an employee receives an economic advantage that can be measured in money such as cash or a different type of payment. Can I bring a guest?
Recipients are not required to bring a guest however each recipient is welcome to bring one guest with them to the conference. The guests will be expected to participate in the activities, and programming on site is permitted for all. There may be activities where they are not invited such as a specific business session for just Co-operators employees indicated on the agenda. Your guest is defined as a significant other, such as a spouse, partner, family member, friend or dependent over the age of twenty-one (21).

Can my family and/or child(ren) join me before, during, or after the conference?
Each recipient is welcome to bring one guest with them to the conference, however if you’re interested in bringing more than one person, you will need to indicate this on your registration form for Lorandus to look into with the resort. All flights will need to be booked and covered separately.
Please note if you are bringing a guest and a child that requires childcare, childcare arrangements must be made by the recipient as the guest is expected to participate during the program dates of May 26-May 29, 2025. All rooms are single or double occupancy, if any additional members would like to attend, please indicate on your registration form as this will be at an additional cost.
Rooms have been reserved and negotiated under the Cooperators/ Lorandus Contact and are unable to be changed based on personal preference for additional members of the family to attend. If you choose to extend your time or to have your family attend at the same time they will be required to book on their own accord and will not be covered in the contract.
How many people can stay in a room?
A king room can accommodate up to 2 adults and 2 children. Two queen rooms can accommodate up to a maximum of 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. If you have more than 4 guests, you may have to book an additional room. Please contact Lorandus for more information and rates.
Extensions
Can I extend my time at the location with my guest attending the conference or my family not attending the conference?
Yes! If you wish to extend your stay, you can pay for the additional time under the preferred pricing with Lorandus 3 days prior (May 23-25) and/or 3 days post (May 29-31) the conference dates of May 26-29, 2025. Please clearly indicate the days you (and your guest or family) are extending on your registration form as they are not granted. If you’d like to attend outside the 3-day windows you will not receive the preferred pricing. Travel for additional members not attending the conference will be at the discretion of the recipient. Please review the dates for extension below.
Costs for extending
*Extension rates are per person, per night, and valid for up to three days before the program (May 23-May 25 and three days after the program (May 29-May 31). Extensions beyond three days on either side of the program are subject to rate changes.
Single Occupancy – $280.00 USD
Double Occupancy – $175.00 USD
Triple Occupancy – $174.00 USD
Children 3-12 – $85.00 USD
Children 0-2 – FREE
Any extensions are subject to availability and additional costs. Please note that due to the high request volumes for responses, turn-around time for these approvals may be longer than normal.
Any reservations for additional guests or extensions will be arranged through Lorandus. Additional charges to extend or upgrades will be charged to your credit card at the hotel.
Children are not able to attend the conference, or any activities planned as part of the conference, please plan childcare accordingly if you’re planning on bringing a guest and children.

Frequently Asked Questions
The recipient and their guest can spend up to $100/person/day on travelling to the airport to and from the conference and $50/person/day on meals/snacks on travel days. You and your leader will receive information on the amount you can expense on your travels in DATABASICS.
Yes! We will recommend the most cost-effective method of transportation based on your location from the airport after the registration form is complete.
If you are located far from the airport and require leaving your vehicle parked at the airport you will be reimbursed for parking during the program dates of May 26-29. Please indicate the method traveling to the airport on your registration form and Co-operators will contact you and your leader with expense information via email.
If travel on the published event dates is not feasible (i.e. limited flights from remote locations), travel expenses such as accommodation and meals may be managed through Lorandus and covered at the discretion of the program owners.
Yes, Lorandus is planning all transportation in Mexico. Once you complete the registration form on the website, Lorandus will provide travel information directly to you.
Please check your airline’s website for details on baggage allowance, restricted items, etc. Please keep your receipt for reimbursement for your 1st checked bag per qualifier per direction and guest if it is not included with your flight.
Yes, however, you are required to be on site for the activities planned. There will be time allotted for “at leisure”, or depending on your flight plan you may have time the day you arrive or departure day.
No, you do not need to bring your company laptop with you. All material for the conference will be available on site.
Dress Code
We’d recommend bringing 2-3 business casual outfits for our business sessions and one semi formal attire for the award dinner. Please review the Dress For Your Day Guideline.
